HomeMy WebLinkAbout088-89 RESOLUTION NO. 88-89 A RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR TRAFFIC SIGNAL GREEN VALLEY ROAD AT BLEMER ROAD AND CAMEO DRIVE WHEREAS, the Town Council has previously approved funding for the design and construction of the Traffic Signal - Green Valley Road at Blemer Road and Cameo Drive, Contract No. 89-7; and WHEREAS, the City Clerk of this Town did, in open session on the 23rd day of June, 1989, publicly open and read aloud the sealed bids received as required by law; and WHEREAS, the city Engineer has recommended adoption of a resolution for the purpose of awarding the contract to the low bidder; and WHEREAS, the Town Council has appropriated $100,000 and the total project cost is anticipated to be $112,100; and NOW, THEREFORE, it is ordered as follows: 1. The Town Manager of this Town is hereby authorized to make and enter into a written contract with the successful bidder, and to receive and approve all bonds in connection therewith, and the City Clerk is hereby directed to attest same and affix thereto the official seal of this Town. 2. The city Clerk shall, within five (5) days of the adoption of this Resolution, transmit an Extract of Public Works contract award to the Department of Industrial Relations, Division of Apprenticeship Standards, P.O. Box 603, San Francisco, California, 94101. Should a finding of any discrepancy regarding the ratio of apprentices to journeymen be made, the Town shall notify the Division of Apprenticeship Standards of such findings. 3. Town Council appropriate $12,100 from the Capital Improvement Fund. I hereby certify that the foregoing is a full, true and correct copy of a resolution duly passed and adopted by the Town Council of Danville, California, at a meeting thereof held on the 6th of July, 1989, by the following vote: AYES: GREENBERG, LANE, RITCHEY NOES: NONE ABSTAIN:NONE MAYOR ATTEST: AP~~
