A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF DANIVLLE
GRANTING PERMISSION TO PARTIALLY CLOSE SEVERAL ROADS
MAY 7, 1989, FOR THE PURPOSE OF PERMITTING
THE DEVIL MOUNTAIN RUN
WHEREAS, The Devil Mountain Run is an annual event benefitting
the Children's Hospital Medical Center of Northern California; and
WHEREAS, this event is well-supported and enjoyed by the
residents of Danville as well as bringing regional recognition to
the Town; and
WHEREAS, in order to insure the safety of the runners, it is
necessary to partially close a number of local roads during the
race;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Danville City Council, on
behalf of all Danville citizens, does hereby authorize the partial
closing of the following roads on Sunday, May 7, 1989, between 9:00
a.m. and 10:30 a.m. for the purpose of permitting the Devil
Mountain Run:
1. San Ramon Valley Boulevard, from Town & Country Road to
Sycamore Valley Road
2. Sycamore Valley Road between San Ramon Valley Boulevard
and Camino Ramon
3o Camino Ramon between Sycamore Valley Road and Greenbrook
Drive
4. Greenbrook Drive between Camino Ramon and Old Orchard
Drive
5. Old Orchard Road between Greenbrook Drive and Camino
Tassajara
6. Camino Tassajara between Camino Tassajara and Hartz
Avenue
7. Diablo Road between Camino Tassajara and Hartz Avenue
8. Hartz Avenue between Diablo and San Ramon Valley
Boulevard
9. Paraiso Drive between Camino Ramon and Everett Drive
10. Everett Drive between Paraiso Drive and Brookside Drive
11. Brookside Drive between Everett Drive and Laurel Drive
12. Laurel Drive between Brookside Drive and Hartz Avenue
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED this 20th day of March, 1989,
by the following vote:
