A RESOLUTION CALLING FOR SEALED PROPOSALS FOR STREET
AND WATER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS
CONTRACT NO. TRAD 89-2
WHEREAS, the Town Council has, pursuant to its Resolution No. 29-88,
a Resolution of Intention to Acquire and Construct Improvements,
adopted on March 31, 1988, undertaken special assessment and assessment
bond proceedings for the acquisition and construction of certain public
improvements; and
WHEREAS, as a part of said proceedings this Council duly approved and
adopted an Engineer's Report, including preliminary plans and
specifications for the public improvements to be constructed; and
WHEREAS, in order to call for proposals for the construction of this
phase of said improvements for street and water system (Contract TRAD
89-2), the Engineer of Work has prepared and submitted to this Council
a detailed set of plans, specifications and contract documents
therefor, with is recommendation that the Engineer's Report be
supplemented by the inclusion of said plans, specifications and
contract documents for the aforesaid phase of the improvements; and
NOW, THEREFORE, the Town Council of the Town of Danville hereby
resolves as follows:
The City Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to call for bids
for the Street and Water System Improvements Project, Contract No. TRAD
89-2.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the Town Council of the Town of
Danville at the regular meeting duly held this 20TH day of
March , 1989, by the following vote:
AYES: GREENBERG, JAGGER, LANE, RITCHEY, SCHLENDORF
NOES: NONE
ABSTAIN: NONE
ABSENT: NONE ~ ~
