A Resolution of the Town Council of the Town of Danville
Establishing an Appropriation Limit for Proceeds of Taxes
For Fiscal Year 1988-89
WHEREAS, Article XIIIB of the State Constitution requires that the
governing body of each political subdivision establish a limit on
the appropriation of tax revenue each fiscal year; and
WHEREAS, Government Code sections 7900 to 7913 outline the method
for calculating that limit; and
WHEREAS, the calculations have been made using the information
furnished by the State Department of Finance in the manner
established in the Government Code and are incorporated into this
resolution; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council, upon receipt of new information may
amend the appropriation limit;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the appropriation limit for
the Town of Danville for fiscal year 1988-89 shall be six million
twenty-three thousand thirty-seven dollars ($6,023,037) .
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED on the 7th day of July, 1988, by the
following vote:
AYES: Greenberg, Jagger, Ritchey, Schlendorf
NOES: None
ABSTAIN: None
ABSENT: Lane
