BEFORE THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF DANVILLE

Government Code Sections 65302 et seq. require that the Town of
Danville must take into consideration future capital facilities
when planning for the development of the community. Each year
(Government Code 65401 and 65402), the City must annually review
proposed capital facilities as to their conformance with the
General Plan.
It is hereby deemed to be in the public interest that the Town of
Danville shall prepare and annually revise a Capital Improvement
Program covering a five-year period for the acquisition,
construction, rehabilitation, and replacement of public buildings
and facilities in the City. Said plan shall contain a Financing
Section covering methods of possible financing and project
descriptions covering the timing, design and construction of
individual capital improvements.
The Town Council has reviewed the draft Capital Improvement
Program in detail and a public hearing has been held on May 16,
1988. Upon referral, the Planning Commission has found the
proposed CIP to be in conformance with the General Plan at their
May 8, 1988, meeting.
NOW THEREFORE the Town Council of the Town of Danville finds,
determines, and orders as follows:
1. The 1987-92 Capital Improvement Program, as recommended by
staff and attached to this resolution, is adopted;
2. The City Engineer is instructed to publish the final CIP
document;
3. The second year's capital budget contained within this
document is ordered to be considered as a part of the approval
of the 1987-88 Financial Plan; and
4. The City Manager is ordered to annually review and recommend
changes to the City Council of the Capital Improvement
Program.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a meeting of the Town Council of
the Town of Danville at a meeting held on 16th of May , 1988,
by the following vote:
AYES: Greenberg, Jagger, Lane, Ritchey, Schlendorf
