A Resolution of the Town Council of the Town of Danville
granting permission to partially close several streets Saturday,
May 28 and Sunday, May 29, 1988 for the purpose of a street
fair.
WHEREAS, the Fine Arts Fair is an event sponsored by the
Danville Area Chamber of Commerce; and
WHEREAS, this event is supported and enjoyed by the residents
of Danville as well as bringing visitors to our downtown; and
WHEREAS, in order to ensure the safety of the participants, it
is necessary to partially close a number of streets during the
event;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Danville Town Council, on
behalf of all Danville citizens, does hereby authorize the
partial closure of the following roads on Saturday, May 28 and
Sunday, May 29, 1988, between 9 A.M. and 6 P.M. for the purpose
of permitting the Fine Arts Fair.
1. Hartz Avenue, from School Street to Diablo Road.
2. School Street between Hartz & Railroad
3. Church Street between Hartz & Railroad
4. W. Prospect Street between Hartz & Railroad
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED this 18th day of April, 1988,
by the following vote:
AYES: Greenberg, Jagger, Lane, Ritchey, Schlendorf
NOES: None
ABSTAIN None
ABSENT: None
