HomeMy WebLinkAbout015-88 RESOLUTION NO. 15-88 RESOLUTION URGING THE CONTRA COSTA COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS TO FORM DRAINAGE AREA 101A (WEST ALAMO CREEK) AND ADOPT A DRAINAGE FEE ORDINANCE FOR SAID DRAINAGE AREA. WHEREAS, currently approved development within the West Alamo creek watershed will impact the stability and capacity of West Alamo Creek; and WHEREAS, the Town of Danville wishes to assure that adequate drainage facilities be constructed to mitigate flood flows in the Drainage Area 101A watershed; and WHEREAS, the staff of the Contra Costa County Flood Control and Water Conservation District has prepared a drainage plan for the aforementioned watershed which mitigates flood flows; and WHEREAS, the Town of Danville wishes to assure that adequate drainage fees be collected for said plan and recognizes the proposed drainage fee ordinance as a means to collect said fees; and WHEREAS, the Town of Danville recognizes that it is the Town's responsibility to collect the drainage fees and convey them to the Contra Costa County Flood Control and Water Conservation District; and NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Council of the Town of Danville urges the Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County to form the proposed DRAINAGE AREA 101A AND ADOPT A DRAINAGE FEE ORDINANCE FOR THE CONTRA COSTA COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL AND WATER CONSERVATION DISTRICT DRAINAGE AREA 101A. passed and adopted THIS 18th DAY OF February , 1988, BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: AYES: Greenberg, Kennett, Lane, Ritchey, Schlendorf NOES: None ABSTAIN: None ABSENT: None ,~~Ma~~ ATTEST: Orig.
