A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Danville
Allocating All Federal Revenue Sharing Funds To The Purchase
Of Park Property On Camino Tassajara
Whereas, the city has received Federal Revenue Sharing funds
based on the City's population and local tax effort; and,
Whereas, the regulations of the Reveune Sharing program require
that local governments use, obligate, or allocate all funds
received not later and October 1, 1987; and,
Whereas, the City Council has issued notice of its intent to
allocate these funds, has made available copies of its
resolution and supporting documents for public inspection, and
has conducted two public hearings on the allocation of Revenue
Sharing funds; and,
Whereas, acquisition and development of park and recreation
facilities is among the community's highest priorities; and,
Whereas, the City Council recently approved a capital project to
acquire property on Camino Tassajara for park use;
Now therefore be it resolved that:
The City Council of the City of Danville allocates all available
Revenue Sharing funds and earned interest on those funds to the
acquisition of park property on Camino Tassajara.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED on the 6th day of October, 1986, by
the following vote:
AYES:
Lane, McNeely, Offenhartz, Schlendorf
NOES: None
ABSENT: Kennett
ABSTAIN: None
