RESOLUTION NO.110-84
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DANVILLE
DESIGNATING A REDEVELOPMENT SURVEY AREA
WHEREAS, Section 33310 of the California Community Redevelopment
Law (Health and Safety Code Section 33000 et seq.) provides that
a project survey area may be designated by resolution of the
City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Danville desires that
the area hereinafter described be studied to determine if a
community redevelopment project or projects within said area are
feasible; and
WHEREAS, a project or projects may be initiated within this area
should it be found that such a project or projects are feasible;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DANVILLE DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section ]. The City Council does hereby designate as a
community redevelopment survey area that area shown on the "Map
of the Survey Area", attached hereto as Exhibit A and by this
reference made a part hereof, and as more particularly described
in the "Description of the Survey Area", attached hereto as
Exhibit B and by this reference made a part hereof.
Section 2. The City Council hereby finds and determines that
said designated survey area requires study to determine if a
project or projects within said area are feasible.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of December, 1984, by
the following vote:
AYES: Lane, May, McNeely, Offenhartz, Schlendorf

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Alternative R
The study area boundaries can be described generally as
follows:
Starting at the intersection of Southern Pacific Railroad
(SPRR) right-of-way (R/W) and Interstate 680 (I-680) R/W go
north along the west side of 1-680 R/W to center of the San
Ramon Creek. Follow the creek north-west to proxmity of Hartz
Avenue and Love Lane. Turn west and proceed on the north side
of Love Lane R/W turning south-west to the SPRR R/W. Continue
south-east along the south-west side off SPRR R/W to the first
lot fronting San Ramon Avenue. Continue south along the rear
property line of lots fronting the west-side of San Ramon
Valley Boulevard to Town and Country Drive. Follow the north
side of the Town and Country Drive R/W across to the west side
of San Ramon Avenue, continue south to the north side of Boone
Court turning west to the rear property line. Continue north
along the rear property lines of those properties fronting the
west side of San Ramon Valley Boulevard to Hartz Avenue. Turn
east along the south side of the Hartz Avenue right-of-way to
the center line of Laurel Drive to the intersection of
Southern Pacific Railroad and 1-680.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Alternative 1
The study area boundaries can be described generally as
follows:
Starting at the intersection of Southern Pacific Railroad
(SPRR) right-of-way (R/W) and Interstate 680 (I-680) R/W go
north along the west side of 1-680 R/W to center of the San
Ramon Creek. Follow the creek north-west to the south side of
the Diablo Road R/W/. Proceed west along diablo Avenue to the
west side of the Front Street R/W turning south along Front
Street. Turn west at the north side of Hartz Avenue turning
north-west along the north-east side of Railroad Avenue R/W.
Turning north-east on the south-east side of East Prospect
right-of-way for approximately 150 feet. Turn north-west along
the rear property lines of the properties fronting Railroad
Avenue. Continue to the north-west side of Linda Mesa Avenue
R/W. Proceed north-east to the south-west side of Hartz Avenue
R/W. Continue to the north side of Love Lane R/W turning
south-west to the SPRR R/W. Continue south-east along the
south-west side off SPRR R/W to the first lot fronting San
Ramon Avenue. Continue south along the rear property line of
lots fronting the west-side of San Ramon Valley Boulevard to
Town and Country Drive. Follow the north side of the Town and
Country Drive R/W across to the west side of San Ramon Avenue,
continue south to the north side of Boone Court turning west to
the rear property line. Continue north'along the rear property
lines of those properties fronting the west side of San Ramon
Valley Boulevard to Hartz Avenue. Turn east along the south
side of the Hartz Avenue right-of-way to the center line of
Laurel Drive to the intersection of Southern Pacific
Railroad and 1-680.
