HomeMy WebLinkAbout032-84A RESOLUTION NO. 32-84 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF DANVILLE Cancellation of Land Conservation Contracts Nos. 11-70 and i5-70 1. The owners of properties subject to land conservation contracts (under the Williamson Act) filed a petition for cancellation of those contacts under Government Code §51282.1. 2. The land conservation contracts are numbered 11-70 and 15-70 and were entered into between the property owners and the County of Contra Costa in 1969. The real property affected by the contracts is described in Exhibits A and B, attached to this Resolution. 3. The real property described in Paragraph 2 is located in the City of Danville. The City acquired jurisdiction over the land and the contracts at the time of its incorporation. 4. On May 11, 1982, before the City was incorporated, the Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors approved and recorded the tentative cancellation of land conservation contracts nos. 11-70 and 15-70, subject to certain conditions (as provided in Government Code SS51283.3 and 51283.4) and full payment of the cancellation fee. 5. The conditions have been satisfied and the cancellation fee of $ 78,235.00 has been paid. NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that Land Conservation Contracts Nos. 11-70 and 15-70 are cancelled and the City Clerk is authorized to execute and record with the County Recorder the attached certificate of cancellation of contract. -1- PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 2nd day of April, 1984, by the following vote: AYES: Lane, May, Mc Neely, Offenhartz, Schlendorf NOES: None ABSENT: None MA~ ~~ ATTEST: CITY ~ERK -2- WHEN RECORDED RETURN TO: City Clerk City of Danville 542 San Ramon Valley Blvd. Danville, CA 94526 CERTIFICATE ~OF CANCELLATION OF LAND CONSERVATION CONTRACTS NOS. 11-70 and 15-70 (Government Code §51283.4) I am the City Clerk of the City of Danville. On May 11, 1982, the Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County approved and recorded a certificate of tentative cancellation of Land Conservation Contracts Nos. 11-70 and 15-70. (Recorded in Book 10789, p. 741.) At the time of its incorporation in July, 1982, the City of Danville acquired jurisdiction over the land and the contracts described in this Certificate. The real property is described in Exhibits A and B attached to this Certificate and incorporated by this reference. The conditions of tentative cancellation have been satisfied and the cancellation fee of $ 78,235.00 has been paid and on April 2, 1984, by Resolution No. 32-84 the City Council of the City of Danville declared that Land Conservation Contracts Nos. 11-70 and 15-70 are cancelled.
