RESOLUTION NO. 32-84
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF DANVILLE
Cancellation of Land Conservation Contracts
Nos. 11-70 and i5-70
1. The owners of properties subject to land
conservation contracts (under the Williamson Act) filed
a petition for cancellation of those contacts under
Government Code §51282.1.
2. The land conservation contracts are
numbered 11-70 and 15-70 and were entered into between
the property owners and the County of Contra Costa in
1969. The real property affected by the contracts is
described in Exhibits A and B, attached to this Resolution.
3. The real property described in Paragraph 2
is located in the City of Danville. The City acquired
jurisdiction over the land and the contracts at the time
of its incorporation.
4. On May 11, 1982, before the City was
incorporated, the Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors
approved and recorded the tentative cancellation of land
conservation contracts nos. 11-70 and 15-70, subject to
certain conditions (as provided in Government Code
SS51283.3 and 51283.4) and full payment of the cancellation
fee.
5. The conditions have been satisfied and the
cancellation fee of $ 78,235.00 has been paid.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that Land
Conservation Contracts Nos. 11-70 and 15-70 are cancelled
and the City Clerk is authorized to execute and record with
the County Recorder the attached certificate of cancellation
of contract.

CERTIFICATE ~OF CANCELLATION OF LAND
CONSERVATION CONTRACTS
NOS. 11-70 and 15-70
(Government Code §51283.4)
I am the City Clerk of the City of Danville.
On May 11, 1982, the Board of Supervisors of
Contra Costa County approved and recorded a certificate
of tentative cancellation of Land Conservation Contracts
Nos. 11-70 and 15-70. (Recorded in Book 10789, p. 741.)
At the time of its incorporation in July, 1982,
the City of Danville acquired jurisdiction over the land
and the contracts described in this Certificate.
The real property is described in Exhibits A
and B attached to this Certificate and incorporated by
this reference.
The conditions of tentative cancellation have
been satisfied and the cancellation fee of $ 78,235.00
has been paid and on April 2, 1984, by Resolution No. 32-84
the City Council of the City of Danville declared that
Land Conservation Contracts Nos. 11-70 and 15-70 are cancelled.
I declare under penalty of perjury that the
foregoing is true and correct.

AGRICULTURAL PRESERVE CONTRACT

That parcel of land in the County of Contra
Costa, State of California, described as follows:
Portion of the southwest one quarter of Section
26, portion of the southeast one quarter of Section 27,
portion of the northeast one quarter of Section 34, and
portion of the north half of Section 35, Township One
South, Range One West, Mt. Diablo Base and Meridian,
containing 158.557 acres, more or less, described as
follows:
Commencing at the section corner common to
Sections 26, 27, 34 and 35; thence South 54° East, 758
feet; thence North 36° East, 345 feet; thence North 61° 02'
30" East, 247.68 feet; thence South 61° 02' East, 1846.4
feet to a point on the east line of the northwest one
quarter of Section 35; thence along said east line,
South 0° 16' East, 578 feet; thence South 28° 58' West,
469.8 feet to a point on the center line of the County
Road known as Camino Tassajara; thence along said center line,
South 61° 02' East, 60 feet; thence North 29° 53' 51" East,
485.36 feet; thence North 38° 36' East, 628.18 feet; thence

line of the northwest one quarter of said Section 35; thence

That parcel of land in the County of Contra Costa,
State of California, described as follows:
Portion of the north half of Section 2, Township
Two South, Range One West, and portion of Section 35 (lying
south of Camino Tassajara), Township One South, Range One
West, Mount Diablo Base and Meridian, containing 219.43
acres, more or less, described as follows:
Commencing at the corner common to Sections 25,
26, 35 and 36, Township One South, Range One West; thence
South 0° 29' 15" East along the line between Sections 35
and 36, 3255.33 feet to the center line of the County Road
known as Camino Tassajara; thence along said center line
North 76° 41' 15" West, 366.58 feet; and North 68° 41' West,
201.51 feet to a railroad spike and the actual point of
beginning of the herein described parcel of land; thence
from said point of beginning South 24° 54' 50" West, at 17
feet a 1-1/2" iron pipe, a total distance of 785.48 feet to
a 1-1/2" iron pipe; thence South 60° 47' West, 452.44 feet

the west line of the Mattos property, and parallel thereto
from Camino Tassajara, and extending 100 feet beyond the
southwest corner of the parcel of land deeded to John S.
Mattos, et ux, recorded March 16, 1953 in Book 2118,
Official Records at page 274.
