RESOLUTION NO. 2-84
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DANVILLE
Completion of Frontage Improvements and
Declaring Hartz Avenue to be a City Street
LUP 2008-83
Hartz Avenue, South of Love Lane
The City Engineer having notified this Council that the frontage improve-
ments for LUP 2008-83 have been completed and that such improvements have been
constructed without the need for a Road Improvement Agreement;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the frontage improvements in the
above-named development have been COMPLETED.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the following instrument is hereby ACCEPTED:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said Hartz Avenue widening is DECLARED
to be a City street.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of January, 1984, by the following

OFFER OF DEDICATION - ROAD PURPOSES

~ WE, Howard L. and Barbara J. Adler
the undersigned, being the present, title owner of record of the herein described
parcel of land, do hereby make an irrevocable offer of dedication to the CITY
OF DANVILLE, a political subdivision of the State of California, and its successors
or assigns, for street and highway purposes, the real property situated in the
CITY OF DANVIllE, County of Contra Costa, State of California, described in
Exhibit "A" (written description) and shown on Exhibit "B" (plat map) attached
hereto.
It is understood and agreed that the CITY OF DANVIlLE and its successors or
assigns shall incur no liability with respect to such offer of dedication, and
shall not assume any responsibility for the offered parcel of land or any improve-
ments thereon or therein, until sllch offer has been accepted by appropriate
action of the City Council, or of the local governinq'bodies of its successors
or assigns.
The provisions hereof shall inure to the benefit of and be binding upon heirs,
successors, assigns, and personal representatives of the respective parties
hereto.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, these presents have executed this instrument this 6th
day of June t 1983

EXHIBIT "A"
A portion of the Rancho San Ramon, Contra Costa County, California, being
also a portion of the parcel of land described in the deed to Howard L. Adler
and Barbara J. Adler, his wife, recorded August 12, 1958 in Book 3209 at
page 380 of Official Records of said County, described as follows:
Beginning at the most southerly corner of said Adler parcel (3209 OR 380};
thence from said point of beginning along the existing northeasterly right i:
of way line of Hartz Avenue as shown on the map entitled "A Precise Section
of Streets and Highway Plan, Contra Costa County, San Ramon Valley Boulevard l
and Hartz Avenue" filed October 24, 1966 in Book 5230 at page 517 of Official
Records of said County, North 36o 30' 00" West 147.15 feet to the most westerly
corner of said Adler parcel (3209 OR 380); thence leaving said existing right
of way line {5230 OR 517) along the northwest line of said Adler parcel {3209
OR 380} North 41o 12' 34" East 14.06 feet to a point on the proposed right
of way line as shown on said map (5230 OR 517}; thence along said proposed
right of way line South 38o 42' 10" East 142.25 feet to a point on the south-
easterly line of said Adler parcel {3209 OR 380); thence along said southeasterly
line South 23° 56' 16" West 21.99 feet to the most southerly corner of said
Adler parcel, the point of beginning.
Containing an area of 2414 square feet or .055 acres of land more or less.
Bearings and distances are based on the California Coordinate System Zone
