HomeMy WebLinkAbout037-82 RESOLUTION NO. 37-82 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DANVILLE CLOSING OF CERTAIN STREETS FOR THE "LIGHTING OF THE OLD OAK TREE" The City Council of Danville RESOLVES THAT: Upon recommendation by the City Engineer, permission is granted to the Danville Old Town Guild to completely close, except for emergency traffic, the two eastbound lanes and one westbound lane on Diablo Road between West E1 Pintado and Bob's Big Boy Restaurant, Prospect Avenue between Railroad Avenue and Front Street, and Front Street between Prospect Avenue and Diablo Road for the period of 7:30 p.m., to 9:00 p.m., November 26, 1982, for the purpose of the Lighting of the Old Oak Tree. Eastbound traffic will be detoured via West E1 Pintado. The road closure is subject to the following conditions: 1. All signing to be in accordance with the State of California Manual of Warning Signs, Lights and Devices; and the County Manual of Warning Signs, Lights and Devices; and approved signing plan; 2. Traffic direction will be by the County Sheriff's Reserves; 3. The Danville Old Town Guild shall furnish a Certificate of Insurance in the amount of $500,000 Combined Single Limit with the City named as additional insured; 4. Approval of the detour plan by the California Highway Patrol and San Ramon Valley Fire District.
