HomeMy WebLinkAbout011-82 RESOLUTION NO. 11-82 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DANVILLE ARRANGING FOR CONTINUATION OF EXTENDED SERVICES BY CONTRA COSTA COUNTY WHEREAS, the County of Contra Costa has been providing certain extended services to the residents of Danville through the use of County Service Areas, and it has been determined that property tax allocations, and service charges accruing to those County Service Areas for 1982-1983 within the boundaries of the new City of Danville should be continued for that use during 1982-1983; and Contra Costa County will continue such extended services using the property tax allocations, and service charges for the County Service Areas; and WHEREAS, the City Council of Danville has determined it to be desirable to continue such services; NOW, THEREFORE be it resolved by the City Council of Danville as follows: 1. Any such property tax funds, unencumbered balances, fees and service charges will be transferred to the City for 1982-1983 for County Service Areas R-5, R-7, M-6, M-21, M-22, L-42, and P-2 should be retained by Contra Costa County for continuation of extended services through fiscal year 1982-1983 in the City as provided during 1981-1982. 2. The City Council requests of the Board of Supervisors that the Council have the opportunity to make recommendations for appointments to the various service area advisory boards and that advisory boards remain in operation until June 30, 1983. PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 8th day of July, 1982, by the following vote: AYES: Lane, May, Mc Neely, Offenhartz, Schlendorf NOES: None ABSENT: None City Clerk
