AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF DANVILLE
ADDING ARTICLE II TO CHAPTER III OF
THE DANVILLE MUNICIPAL CODE, RELATING TO A
FEE SCHEDULE FOR POLICE AND CITY CLERK SERVICES
THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF DANVILLE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION ONE. PURPOSE AND INTENT. This article is enacted to allow the Town to
recover the cost of providing certain discretionary services in the Police and City Clerk
departments.
SECTION TWO. FINDINGS.
The Town Council of the Town of Danville hereby finds and declares that the fees
specified below do not exceed the estimated amount required to provide the service.
SECTION THREE. ADDING ARTICLE II OF CHAPTER III.
Section 3-20 is hereby added to the Danville Municipal Code, to read as follows:
POLICE SERVICE FEE FOR SERVICE
Accident Reports $25 each
Abandoned Vehicle Citation $103
Alarm Response Fee $10/alarm company Danville customer
A.B.C. Letter for One Day Sale Permit $25
Booking Fee Reimbursement County Charge
Disturbance Call-Back $60/hour/officer for second or more calls
DUI Reimbursement Actual Costs not to exceed $1,000
Fingerprinting $20
In-house Processing $75
One day Alcohol Use Permit $50/day
Photographs $25 plus $1.50/photo for processing
Storage Fee (vehicle) $60/day
Towed Vehicle Release $25 (resident), $50 (non-resident)
Verification Letter $25
Verification Report Fee $25
CITY CLERK FEE FOR SERVICE
Agenda Subscriptions $30/year
Certification of Documents $5/first page, $2.50/subsequent page
Town Council Minutes $5/meeting, $60/year
Municipal Code $150
Supplements $25/year

Zoning Ordinance $20/each
Notary Public $5/signature
Records Search $25/hour
Special Request Photo Copies $1 for 1-5 pages
Subsequent Pages $0.20/page
Voter Registration Transcript $7.50 each
SECTION FOUR. PUBLICATION. The City Clerk shall either a) have this Ordinance
published once within 15 days after adoption in a newspaper of general circulation or b)
have a summary of this ordinance published twice in a newspaper of general circulation
once five days before it's adoption and again within 15 days after adoption.
SECTION FIVE. SEVERABILITY. The Town Council hereby declares that every section,
paragraph, clause and phrase are severable. If any section, paragraph, sentence, clause
or phrase of this Ordinance is for any reason held to be invalid or unconstitutional, such
invalidity or unconstitutionality shall not affect the validity or constitutionality of the
remaining section, paragraphs, sentences, clauses or phrases.
SECTION SIX. CODIFICATION. Section Three shall be codified in the Danville Municipal
Code. Sections One, Two and Four, Five and Six shall NOT be codified in the Danville
Municipal Code.
The foregoing Ordinance was first read and introduced on June 29, 1993 and approved
and adopted by the Danville Town Council at a Regular Meeting on July 6, 1993 by the
following vote:
