AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF DANVILLE
AMENDING SECTION 30-1.2 c. OF THE DANVILLE
MUNICIPAL CODE, RELATING TO FEES
THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF DANVILLE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION ONE. AMENDING SECTION 30-1.2 c. OF THE DANVILLE MUNICIPAL
CODE. Section 26-2.2803(b) of the Ordinance Code of the Contra Costa County as
adopted by reference by Section 30-1.2 c. of the Danville Municipal Code is hereby
repealed in its entirety and replaced by the following:
"26-2.2803(b) Amount of Fee. , the fee for service shall be as follows:
ENGINEERING SERVICE FEE FOR SERVICE
Map Check 2-10 lots = $ 1,075 + $ 110/lot
Review of Parcel/Final map 11 or greater lots = $ 2,150 + $ 11/1ot
Improvement Plan Check 3.5 % of projects less than $ 50,000
Reviews of improvement plans 3.25% of projects between $ 50,000 and
for street, drainage and $ 100,000
landscaping work 3% of projects $ 100,000 and above.
Engineering Inspection 5.5% of project less than $ 50,000
Inspection of installation of 5.25% of projects between $ 50,000 and
street, drainage and $ 100,000
landscaping improvements. 5% of projects $ 100,000 and above.
Street Lighting One year operational cost + 1096
Operation of public street lighting system
Encroachment Permit $ 90.00 minimum or 5.5% of
Work within public right-of-way construction costs for large projects
Drainage Permit $ 90.00 minimum or 5.5% of
Work within any drainage easement construction costs for large projects

SECTION TWO. SEVERABIHTY: The Town Council hereby declares that every
section, paragraph, clause and phrase are severable. If any section, paragraph, sentence,
clause or phrase of this Ordinance is for any reason held to be invalid or
unconstitutional, such invalidity or unconstitutionality shall not affect the validity or
constitutionality of the remaining sections, paragraphs, sentences, clauses or phrases.
SECTION THREE. CODIFICATION: Sections One shall be codified in the Danville
Municipal Code. Sections Two and Three shall NOT be codified in the Danville Municipal
Code.
The foregoing Ordinance was first read and introduced on October 1, 1991 and approved
and adopted by the Danville Town Council at a Regular Meeting on October 15, 1991, by
the following vote:
